We can give vaccinations not routinely available for everyone on the NHS such as the new Gardasil 9 for Cervical Cancer and genital warts, Meningitis B, Chicken Pox, Shingles and even Pertussis (Whooping Cough) for those visiting infants in USA, Australia and elsewhere.
Unlike most other clinics, all our vaccinations are given by a highly experienced GP. During the vaccination appointment, you will have time to discuss any queries or concerns you may have, and the doctor will explain the pros and cons associated with a given vaccination, including any possible side effects. This appointment is free; you will only pay the fee for the vaccination.
Some vaccinations require a course of injections, or booster injections, to be effective.
To ensure the highest standards of care at all times, all our clinical staff maintain regular anaphylaxis training, and the practice is fully equipped to manage any adverse reactions.
For travel vaccinations our receptionist will ask you some questions regarding your destination, length of stay and any current medications you are taking. This information will be given to a G.P and then you will be contacted with the recommendation of vaccine(s) to have.
