Please read these terms and conditions for using our services.
Cancellation Policy
When you book an appointment you are reserving the doctor’s time exclusively for your treatment.
We require 12 hours notice for the cancellation of any appointment, otherwise you may lose any deposit you have paid. Cancellations before 12 hours will not incur any cancellation fees and any deposit paid will be refunded.
Payment Terms
All fees must be paid at the time of booking unless we have set up an invoice service for you or your company. We accept credit/debit cards, BAC’s transfers and cash. Unfortunately we do not accept American Express.
We will provide a receipt for all payments which you can use to claim reimbursement from your health insurer, if you have cover.
Mask Wearing Policy
You are not required to wear a mask, but if you would like to, then we have spares which we can give to you.
Shore Medical NHS Patients
Sadly at current times the NHS regulations stipulate that Dr Alder and Dr Echebarietta are unable to offer private GP services to NHS patients of Shore Medical which include the surgeries; Poole Road Medical Centre, Wessex Road Surgery, Lilliput Surgery, Parkstone Tower Practice and Heatherview Medical Centre. This is because Dr Alder and Dr Echebarietta are both NHS GPs at this recently merged super-practice.
Drugs of Addiction
We cannot prescribe any controlled drugs – this includes sedatives, strong painkillers and sleeping tablets, unlicensed medication or anything that requires a specialist consultation. If you are in need of rehabilitation services we will be happy to direct you towards help but we are sorry that we cannot prescribe detoxification medicines. Please contact us if you would like a list of the drugs which we cannot prescribe.
