Do you require a knee joint injection?

For knee joints there are 3 options of injection treatment. There is a Steroid injection, Hyaluronic Acid injection and a combined Steroid & Hyaluronic Acid injection.

You will be booked in for a knee joint injection appointment with one of our specialist doctors and there will be time to discuss the best treatment for your knee issue. Injections are given on the same day.

A steroid injection in 1 knee costs £145. The price includes the consultation with the doctor and the injection. The cost for 2 steroid knee injections on the same day is £197

The Hyaluronic Acid injection is called Durolane and costs £241.50. Both knees on the same day with the same treatment are priced at £390

The combined Hyaluronic Acid & Steroid injection is called Cingal and costs £295.50. Both knees on the same day with the same treatment are priced at £498

Hyaluronic Acid Injections Explained

Durolane is a Hyaluronic Acid which acts like a lubricant and shock absorber in the synovial fluid. A Durolane injection may cushion your joint and manage your symptoms

As early as 2 weeks after an injection, Durolane can reduce osteoarthritic joint pain and improve the physical activity and quality of life.

Cingal injection - for knees only
