We offer steroid injections for joint inflammation and soft tissue problems in several areas of the body, as well as hyaluronic acid (HA) injections to relieve pain in an osteoarthritic knee joint.

The steroid injections - are carried out at our Bournemouth and Poundbury Clinic. The cost for one joint injection is £120 and two joints are £150. Our doctors can administer the steroid injection into the following areas:

The Durolane injections - are currently only carried out at our Bournemouth Clinic. Dr Tim Alder can administer the treatment into osteoarthritic knees.

If one knee is injected, the cost is £310. Both knees are priced at £450.

Durolane is a Hyaluronic Acid which acts like a lubricant and shock absorber in the synovial fluid. A Durolane injection may cushion your joint and manage your symptoms.
As early as 2 weeks after an injection, Durolane can reduce OA joint pain and improve the physical activity and quality of life.
